There is a small army of volunteers that keep our churches and parish running, yet most of us hardly know who they are. Let us introduce you to one of them: Tony Sobredo.
Joan Proctor has been a parishioner at Christ the King for 52 years. Joan and her husband, Jim, moved to the parish after getting married in 1969. They had met at a supper dance just weeks before Jim moved to Mt Isa for work; Jim proposed over the phone and their life at the parish began after they bought a home in Braybrook.
Betty sees herself as being here, a member of our parish community, since forever. Many parishioners will probably recognise her but may not know her name. Well, here is our chance to get to know Elizabeth Ann Linsley (nee Shaw), or Betty, as she has been called since birth. [read more...]
The Vietnamese Youth Group were finally able to catch up face to face. They teach catechism to children every Sunday in Braybrook. For more information please contact the office.
There are a number of opportunities in the next two weeks for you to participate and contribute your thoughts and reflection for our Parish and our Church as a whole.

Due to the circuit breaker lock-down we are reverting back to On-Line Mass until the 3rd of June. Weekday Masses are live-streamed at 7:30 AM and 7:00 PM while Sunday Masses will be at 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Please visit our Facebook Page for On-Line Streaming: www.facebook.com/hfpcam

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have been made aware more than ever about the handicapped with regard to the records that we have in our parish office. We have the postal addresses of people enrolled in our Thanksgiving Program but we do not have the updated contact details of those who come to our weekend celebrations. As much as we want to get in touch with as many of you as possible, we didn't have the facility. If you wish to receive information from the parish or reach out to other parishioners, lock-down or not, it would be nice to have your updated information on how to reach you. We would like to get in touch with you and send you some updates from our parish. If you are interested, please text your FIRSTNAME, LASTNAME and EMAIL ADDRESS from your MOBILE PHONE to: 0452 463 670
You may use our new secure parcel mailbox to send your Thanksgiving Envelopes, Mass Intentions or any communications you need to send to the office during this time of lock-down.
