Confirmation 2021

The Church came alive on Monday the 29th of November, when our candidates received their Sacrament of Confirmation. All 27 candidates, coming from the parish community (10), Christ the King Primary School (10) and St John’s Primary School (7), represented their communities well with their reverence and participation on the night. Led by Father Rene, the night focused on the dispositions and vocation our candidates are accepting in receiving the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and emphasised the calling to faithfully bring true justice to the world (Isaiah 42:1-3 ). Made even more special sharing the celebration during the first week of Advent, Monday night proved to reinvigorate and revitalise our faith-filled community. Our candidates and their families had their initial Confirmation dates cancelled due to COVID, and we thank each and every family for their patience, devotion and commitment during this time.
