Welcome Fr Edgar!

This week (15 November) Fr Edgar has officially been appointed Assistant Priest at Holy Family Parish.

Fr. Edgar Dacaldacal was born on 20th of February 1980 in the town of Asturias, Cebu, Philippines. He entered the Rogationist Seminary of Cebu on May 16, 1997.

He was ordained priest on December 10, 2011 by the Archbishop of Cebu, His excellency Jose Palma.

Before he was ordained, he was assigned to the different communities in the Philippines and Indonesia as collaborator to the formation of the seminarians, children in the orphanage and pastoral works of the congregation.
After his ordination, he was assigned to the missionary stations outside Philippines such as Indonesia and Vietnam and now Maidstone, Melbourne.

Fr Edgar joins Fr Huy and our new Parish Priest Fr Gerald to form our Clergy Team and looks forward to being part of our parish community and to work on realising our vision of being a community of faith and love. Please make him feel welcomed.
