Fr. Rene will be establishing a Community of Rogationists Priests in a new Diocese

Finally, the answer to the question "Where are you going Fr Rene?" has been released.

Most Rev. Shane Mackinlay, Bishop of Sandhurst, is delighted to announce on Friday 8 September, that the Rogationist Fathers of the Heart of Jesus have agreed to establish a community of their priests in the Diocese of Sandhurst. The community will be established at St Mel's Parish, Shepparton South, and will serve St Malachy's Parish Nagambie. Fr Rene will lead the community and be assisted by Fr Ruel Desamparado RCJ, who is preparing to come to Australia. Their appointment will come into effect on Saturday 4 November 2023.
