This weekend, we released our Parish Annual Report 2022. The report summarises our achievements and finances for the year ending December 2022.
As part of the release, we heard from either Angelo Ramnac or Adam Fitzgerald who shared their parish involvement and faith journey at our Masses. Both Angelo and Adam are active parishioners who are experiencing the rich benefits and gifts the Holy Spirit has to offer when we say "yes" to giving of our time, talent and treasures and immersing ourselves in Parish life.
You will see in the report that we have much to be proud of. Our community is one that is already vibrant with talented and wonderful leaders and volunteers. However, there are great expenses to running an active Church and there are definitely challenges ahead. That is why Angelo, team leader of this year's Alpha program, reminds us that:
"We don't have to do it alone:
We must partner with God
We must pray for more volunteers
We must pray for the parish to be in a stronger financial position"
Adam, who despite growing up in a Catholic family, attending Mass every Sunday and even being an Altar Server, slowly allowed his relationship with the Church to become transactional. That was until he got involved with the Parish Finance Council and Alpha. These opportunities have opened his eyes and heart to how wonderful our parish community is and knowledge that God cannot be outdone in generosity and blessings.
Please take the time to review our report and consider how God is calling you to contribute to the building of his kingdom.
