Fr. Rene Ramirez was born on 28th March 1969 in Gapan, Nueva Ecija, 100 km north of Manila, Philippines. He comes highly qualified to the Holy Family Parish (HFP). Fr. Rene Joined the Rogationist order in May 1985 and after 13 years of studies, was ordained as a priest in 1998. He then served as Administrator, Treasurer and Vice Rector at the Rogationist College in Cavite City, Philippines. During this time, he also finished his Masters in Educational Management. In July 2003, he moved to Rome and completed Licentiate studies in Spirituality and Social Communications at the Pontifical Gregorian University.
Fr. Rene also brings a wealth of experience to HFP. Upon his return to the Philippines in 2006, he was appointed Director of Social Communications and Spiritual Director to their college-seminarians. From 2009 to 2015, he also served as Superior of St. Hannibal Rogate Centre, which included the Communications Office, the Provincial House and House for Rogationist seminarians.
Fr. Rene enjoys cooking, his specialty is Italian cuisine and pastry making. He loves classical and pop music. He also enjoys playing the piano and gardening.
